This Agreement is between Customer and Drip News. “Customer” meaning the entity on behalf of which this Agreement is accepted or, if that does not apply, the individual accepting this Agreement.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using or accessing the Products, you confirm you are bound by this Agreement. If you do not wish to be bound by this Agreement, do not use or access Drip News and it's services.

2. Description of Service

Drip News is a news aggregator that allows users to create a personalized feed of their favorite news sources and summarize similar articles from multiple sources.

3. User Obligations

By using Drip News, you agree to:

  • Not sell or distribute information obtained from the application.
  • Not use the information to make decisions regarding health, finances, security, or safety.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those governing consumer protection, privacy, and advertising.
  • Not violate copyright laws or engage in illegal activities.
  • Not take any action based on the information that could create legal liability for Drip News.

4. Account Terms

You are responsible for safeguarding your account information. This includes:

  • Not sharing your account credentials with others.
  • Maintaining the security of your account.

Drip News is not responsible for any security breaches resulting from your failure to protect your account information.

5. Payment Terms

All payments for Drip News subscriptions that appear in your credit or bank statements may refer to our vendor. Your payment data at time of subscription payment will be securely processed by our payment partner, Paddle, who acts as the Merchant of Record. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to comply with Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms and Privacy Policy.

Key points include:

  • Charges occur once per month, starting from the date of purchase.
  • You may cancel your membership at any time within the billing period; services will continue until the end of the billing cycle.
  • Membership changes can be made at any time, with cost differences being prorated at time of change.
  • Refunds will be handled by Paddle as our Merchant of Record.

We offer a one-month refund policy, no questions asked, to all of our customers. Contact us at support@drip.news to see if we can't make it right.

6. Intellectual Property

Except as expressly stated, neither party grants the other any rights or licenses to its intellectual property. Specifically:

  • Users do not own any intellectual property rights in the content provided by Drip News.
  • Rights of news sources or articles remain with their original owners.
  • Generated summaries, both textual and audio, are the property of Drip News.
  • Drip News retains all intellectual property rights in its products, services, and technology.

7. User-Generated Content

Users may not share generated content as their own without proper attribution to Drip News and the original sources.

8. Feedback and Suggestions

Drip News welcomes feedback, comments, and suggestions from users. We may incorporate any feedback at any time without obligation to you.

9. Privacy Policy

Our Privacy Policy can be found at https://www.drip.news/privacy. Drip News is committed to complying with all applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

10. Third-Party Services

Drip News integrates with third-party services for authentication and features, including:

  • Authentication: Google, Apple, and Facebook.
  • Summarization Services: Microsoft and OpenAI.

11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Except for excluded or special claims, to the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Neither party will be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • Each party's total liability will not exceed the amounts paid to Drip News for membership costs.

12. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Drip News from and against any claim by a third party arising from or related to:

  • Your use or attempted use of Drip News in violation of these Terms.
  • Your violation of any law or rights of any third party.
  • Any submissions you post to other platforms, including claims of infringement, misappropriation, or violation of any intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.

13. Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute:

  • The parties will attempt to reach a satisfactory solution through consultation and negotiation within 60 days.
  • If unresolved, the dispute will proceed to binding arbitration under the Rules of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce.
  • Arbitration will take place in New York, NY, USA, or a mutually agreed location.
  • The language of arbitration shall be English.

14. Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws of the State of New York, USA, without giving effect to its conflict of laws principles. Each party irrevocably agrees that any legal action, suit, or proceeding that is not subject to arbitration must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York, NY, USA. Each party submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of these courts.

15. Modifications to Terms

Drip News reserves the right to modify these Terms at its discretion. Updates will be indicated by a new effective date on this page.

16. Age Restrictions

Our services are intended for users over the age of 18.

17. Termination Clause

Drip News reserves the right to terminate your account for any reason. Notifications will be sent to the email address on file.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Drip News regarding the use of our services and supersede all prior agreements.

20. Waiver

The failure of Drip News to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision.
